The Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” (PPPDA) can anytime name a Prime Minister with a complete list of ministers after it is sure that it has a majority that will vote for the dismissal of the current Government and for the appointment of the Government proposed by the DA Platform, the party’s leader Andrei Năstase was quoted by IPN as saying in a news conference.

According to Andrei Năstase, the PPPDA assumes governance and does not have what to offer to those who consider that they negotiate. “Moldova is witnessing a big collapse and there is nothing to be negotiated. Only assumption and responsibility are needed and the Dignity and Truth Platform can ensure such things”.

At the same time, the politician said he will never have negotiations with the leader of Pro Moldova Andrian Candu because the PPPDA cannot discuss principles “with a mister without principles”. “If someone imagines that the chairman of the parliamentary commission of inquiry into the bank fraud, Mister Slusari, will sit at the negotiating table with the one who is mentioned in the commission’s report, I mean Mister Candu, who is treated there as a participant in the billion theft, I tell you that you are mistaken,” stated Andrei Năstase.

In another development, the politician confirmed that he is the PPPDA’s candidate in the upcoming presidential elections. “I repeatedly told President Dodon that this time I will be on the list and will not be absent from the meeting with people in autumn. Any other speculations until the PPPDA takes a final decision are nothing else but another context that will fuel the oligarchic propaganda,” he noted.

On Facebook a live recently, Pro Moldova leader Andrian Candu said they are having discussions with the PAS and PPPDA on the eventuality of having a new Government. He noted that these discussions cannot be classed as negotiations, but expressed his readiness to even consider the possibility of supporting Andrei Năstase’s candidacy for Prime Minister.
