The Party “Action and Solidarity” (PAS) and the Party “Platform Dignity and Truth” (PPPDA) aim to form an alliance not with whole political parties, but with representatives of parties who will show that they are upright and have merits, PPPDA leader Andrei Nastase stated in the program “Emphasis on Today” on TVR Moldova channel, IPN reports.
“Our cooperation with the PAS envisions cooperation based on principles, involvement of representatives of other parties in our discussions and their participation in the next elections. I do not refer to the involvement of other political forces,” said Andrei Nastase.
According to him, the two parties committed themselves to come to the future Parliament with a group of upright and professional people chosen based on merits, who showed stoicism and generated hope that they will not act like the turncoats from the current Parliament when they enter the legislature.
Journalist Vlad Turcanu said the fate of the opposition is in the hands of these parties and their result in the upcoming parliamentary elections depends on their performance and openness to the people. “I insist on the openness that the political leaders of the opposition and the members of these parties should show as it seems that they feel better in a caste and know what they have to do and such an approach is dangerous,” he stated.
