The candidate of the bloc ACUM, DA and PAS, Andrei Năstase, claims that he voted keeping at heart Chisinau, its suburbs and Moldova. "The vote for Chisinau and its suburbs is an important one, because the path and the future of Moldova depend on it." The statements were made by the candidate upon leaving the polling station, IPN reports.
"I voted for the principles and values in which we, the people of Chisinau and the suburbs, believe: in everyone’s right to a better life, well-being, social equity, in a society free of lies, division, propaganda, betrayal, compromise, opportunism. I voted with the certainty that this time no one will dare nor manage to steal our vote, as they did last year, "said Andrei Nastase.
The ACUM candidate emphasizes that it is essential for people to go to the polls, to choose as their reason dictates and through this vote to "stop the attempts by the real estate mafia to stay in power in Chisinau". At the same time, "to stop a certain person's attempt to take over the country," stressed Andrei Nastase.
The candidate stated that "the destructive forces in the country and abroad, through propaganda inside and outside the country, are trying to attack again democracy". According to Andrei Năstase, throughout the electoral campaign "destructive forces outside the country" promoted here "a destructive campaign, of a hybrid war type".
Andrei Năstase was accompanied to the polling station by his wife, daughter, as well as party colleagues.
