The leader of the Civic Platform “Dignity and Truth” Andrei Nastase issued an invitation to Maia Sandu and Ion Sturza to join forces in view of the possible early legislative elections. He made such a call in the talk show ”Fourth power” on  N4 TV channel, IPN reports.

“Our objectives are to save the state and the people from falling into the abyss and to bring the European integration process back to normality. Maia Sandu does not yet have a party. She can join us together with a group of upright persons. We are also waiting for Ion Sturza with his team. Polls show that almost 50% of the population does not know who to vote for. Together we could attract this segment of undecided voters. If we join forces, we will succeed,” stated Nastase.

The protesters’ leader provided explanations over the need to register amendments to the statutes of the People’s Force Party. “The party exists. They didn’t register my election as chairman, but this is less important. They also didn’t register the name of “Platform Dignity and Truth”, but this is a technical issue and I assure you that we will resolve it,” he said.

Andrei Nastase reiterated that they are for early elections and for continuation of protests. “The people take to the streets regardless of the political color. Everyone focused on the idea that we combined forces with Dodon and Usatyi. Now our goal is to get rid of oligarchy and to reach early elections. Afterward we will see if Dodon can convince the voters that it is better to live in Siberia. At least 70% of the population wants early elections. In Greece, the people protest because they receive pensions of €750. In our country the pension is 750 lei. They stole a US$1billion from our banks and someone in Latvia resigned after this money reached banks there. In our country, 37 judges must be jailed for accepting the transactions, but they continue to hold their posts, with one of them applying alone for the presidency of the Supreme Court of Justice,” he stated.
