The president of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” (PPPDA) Andrei Năstase has launched a mobile application called “Andrei Năstase” that is designed to ensure communication between the Moldovan politicians. He informed about the novelty in a press briefing, IPN reports.
The new political communication technology ensures the switchover from mass, undifferentiated communication to a personalized approach. “Communication aimed at the voter becomes a sine qua non condition when there are so many fake news that confuses the voters,” stated Andrei Năstase.
“This will be an antidote against toxic energies, propaganda and misinformation that have expanded before the campaign prior to the presidential elections of November 1, 2020. This way, the virtual sphere will not be besieged with fake news like “Chisinau will be conceded to the Arabs for a 50-year-period,” said the leader of the PPPDA, making reference to a fake news article disseminated during the campaign that preceded the Chisinau mayoral elections of 2018.
The application is free and can be downloaded from the two global platforms dedicated to such communication instruments, AppStore and GooglePlay.
