Andrei Galbur confirmed as Ambassador to Russia

President Nicolae Timofti issued a decree to name Andrei Galbur as Moldova’s Ambassador to Russia, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communiqué from the presidential press service. Andrei Galbur has worked in the diplomatic service since 1995. He served at Moldova’s Representative Office to the OSCE in Vienna and as counseling minister at Moldova’s Embassy in Washington. The post of ambassador of Moldova to Russia was vacated by Andrei Neguta in spring. He was recalled after he made statements that were considered incompatible with the position he held.
