Moldovan wrestler Anastasia Nikita has qualified for the final of the European Wrestling Championships held in Zagreb, IPN reports.
The 24-year-old athlete scored two clear victories in the 59 kg weight class - 10-1 against Norwegian’s Othelie Hoeie and 10-0 against Turkey’s Eda Tekin. The pupil of Tudor Cîrlan in the final meets Ukraine’s Yuliia Tkach, triple European champion and world champion in 2014.
Another Moldovan wrestler Irina Rîngaci will compete in the 65 kg weight class. In the playoffs, she plays against Kendra Dacher of France.
