Anastasia Nikita become European Under 23 champion

Wrestler Anastasia Nikita for the second time won the title of European Under 23 champion after that of 2019, IPN reports.

In the 59 kg weight class, Tudor Cîrlan’s pupil beat Anna Fabian of Serbia, Anne Beatrice Nuernberger of Germany, Solomiia Vynnyk of Ukraine and Tamara Dollak of Hungary. Anastasia Nikita has qualified for the Tokyo Olympics that start on July 23.

Moldova’s Irina Rîngaci will also compete in the final of the U23 European Wrestling Championship held in Skopje. She won against Nerea Blanco of Spain and Kamila Kulwicka of Poland and in the final of the 65 kg class meets Ukraine’s Kateryna Zelenych.
