Anastasia Lazariuc presented a new album titled “Longing for Mother” in Bucharest on October 29. The singer had worked on the album for four years. “I learned from my parents' sincerity and wisdom that love plays an important role in life,” Lazariuc says in the preface of the album. “My mother was the dearest persons in my life and I miss her very much. I thank her for being near me!” The CD includes 18 songs. Some of them are new. The music and words were written both by Moldovan and Romanian composers and lyricists, including Iurie Sadovnic, Anatol Dumitras, Mircea Gutu, Dumitru Matcovschi, Geta Voinovan, Adrian Romcescu, Dino Ramos, Viorela Filip, the late Petre Teodorovici and others. “I will launch the album in Chisinau as well, but it will happen when I find the necessary support there,” the singer told Info-Prim Neo's correspondent in Bucharest. In Romania, the album was released with the support of singer, composer and producer Ovidiu Comornic. “I have a special love for the Moldovan people and for Anastasia. She is a great singer and a sensitive person. As most of her songs were written by Bessarabian authors, they have a special melodic line and a deep message typical of all the Moldovans, which only they know how to transmit,” said Ovidiu Comornic. Admirers of all ages came to the launch. “I like Anastasia Lazariuc's hearty songs very much,” said Vasilica Musat. “I like Anastasia's music and how she looks. Today, I was deeply impressed by the song “Mother”,” said Nina Grigore, another admirer. “I have always admired the Bessarabian poets and artists. Romania cannot boast of such a great orchestra as Nicolae Botgros's. You have many great artists,” Nina Grigore told Info-Prim Neo's correspondent.
