The candidate of The Right for President Ana Gutu will not withdraw from the electoral race because this will be a big disappointment for the real unionists of the Republic of Moldova, the party’s deputy head Dorin Dushchak told a news conference, quoted by IPN.

Dorin Dushchak called on all the people of Moldova to vote for Ana Gutu because this conducted an honest campaign and spoke to the people about the necessity of the union of the two Romanian states. He thanked the sympathizers and supporters of The Right, saying authentic democracy means pluralism of opinion, competition of ideas, honesty, voter education in the spirit of political culture based on conclusions and analysis, without manipulation.

In the October 28 meeting of the party’s standing bureau, it was unanimously decided that candidate Ana Gutu will compete in the first round of voting. “There is freedom where there is possibility of choosing. Voting of the lesser evil became a national sport and thus we lost tens of years in party struggles. Unionism should not concede and meet the expectations of the parties funded by Russia,” added Dorin Dushchak.

For her part, Ana Gutu called on the people to be firm and vote for Moldova’s union with Romania in the first round of elections.
