A number of ambulances will be mobilized near the most crowded cemeteries of Chisinau on Low Sunday that this year is observed on May 8 and 9.These are “Saint Lazarus” Cemetery located on Doina St and the Central Cemetery situated on Armeneasca St. By a doctor will be on guard at family doctors’ centers in Chisinau on May 9.
Consultant of the press service of the Ministry of Health Stela Cheptene has told IPN that the ambulances will be on duty between 8am and 5pm. The visitors of the cemeteries who will need medical care will be given first aid.
Stela Cheptene said the national hospitals work in a normal regime, with doctors on guard. In the period, the doctors are on the alert given that the number of requests for assistance increases and higher mobilization is needed.
Contacted by IPN, deputy head of the Chisinau Health Division Constantin Ramis said the primary care institutions will not work on May 8. On May 9, all the local medical associations and family doctors’ centers in Chisinau will have by a doctor on duty between 8am and 5pm.
