A woman got her nose broken by her husband’s fist, who beat her on Monday. Evelina Rusu, executive doctor of Chisinau Emergency Service, told Info-Prim Neo the 54-year-old woman was attacked by her husband, in her house on Rahmaninov Street. After beating her harshly, he called an ambulance. Doctors found her nose was broken and distorted. However, she refused to be hospitalized. The Buiucani police will investigate the case. A 27-year-old woman that gave birth to a healthy child on Sunday, at home, called an ambulance, being afraid she had a bleeding. The woman and the baby were taken to the hospital. A man, aged 59, was walking on Traian Avenue when he suddenly fell and died. The ambulance staff supposes he died because some heart problems, but forensic doctors will establish the exact cause of death. Over the last 24 hours, the Emergency Service responded to 700 calls, including 49 related to viroses, 15 pneumonia cases, 49 traumas, 19 diarrheic diseases, 9 strokes and 14 cases of acute coronary syndrome.
