Ambulance teams of Chisinau wore, recently, uniforms according to colors worn by international emergency services – orange and bleu-marine. According to the director of the National Scientific-Practice Center of Emergency Medicine, Ph. D candidate in medical sciences, Gheorghe Ciobanu, summer uniforms of the doctors include an orange T-shirt and bleu-marine trousers, with fluorescent bands and the emblem of the Medical Emergency Service (SAMU). The winter uniform will be designed as follows: a coat of two colors, fluorescent bands and SAMU emblem, as well as winter shirt and trousers. In autumn and spring, by taking off the sleeves and lining, the coat transforms into a vest. The clothes are made by a Moldovan company, and the price of a winter-summer set is 957 lei, the money being allocated by the mentioned-above institution. According to Ciobanu, all emergency services of the country will wear such uniforms; Chisinau city will be the first to try these uniforms. Daily, 47 SAMU teams work in Chisinau municipality.
