An ambulance that was transporting a patient aged three months to the hospital skidded off the icy road in Rezina district. Employees of the local Emergencies Division intervened and unblocked the unit of transport so that the child reached safely the health facility.
On the roads in Soldanesti, three units of transport were towed away by firefighters as these got stuck in snow piles.
The General Inspectorate for Emergencies said a minibus that left the road and ended up in a ditch in Criuleni district was also towed away.
According to the latest reports, trucks were stopped by the local authorities at the entrance to Anenii Noi town to prevent their blocking, IPN reports.
