Alternatives for getting civil status documents for newborns

The civil status documents for newborns will be issued by maternity hospitals or the nearest local registry office, or at the parents’ place of residence. The Cabinet made relevant changes to an earlier Government Decision, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Minister of Justice Oleg Efrim, by these amendments the parents are offered the possibility of choosing the place where to register the birth.
