About 480 thousand voters in Moldova took part in elections until 13.00, or 20% of the total number of voters. According to the Central Election Commission, the highest participation rate was registered in Floresti, 42.68%. The lowest voter turnout rate was registered in Taraclia, 1.46%. 13.11% voted in Chisinau, 18.76% in Cahul and 6.96% have expressed their political option in Gagauzia. According to recent data, 15.1% voted in Balti. The voting process takes place without major violations. The situation occurred in Corjova village, where the separatist forces entered by force into the polling station no.15/5 and do not allow people to vote, remains unchanged. In 2003, 30% had participated by 13.00 in elections, and the final voter turnout rate was at that time 58.68%.
