Candidates who do not pass the driving exam can challenge the results online, without having to go to the subdivision of the Public Services Agency. Out of 1,356 appeals filed during one year, from February 13, 2024 to February 13, 2025, 1,220 were submitted online. Only 136 candidates presented the applications in person, the institution said, quoted by IPN.

A number of 617 appeals were rejected after checking the audio-video recordings of the test. 211 candidates were allowed to take the practical test again. 23 candidates had the result changed into “passed" after the re-evaluation, and 26 people withdrew their appeals.

A further 472 applications were rejected because the candidates had already taken a second test. Due to non-compliance with the procedure, 7 applications were not accepted.

Candidates can submit the appeal either in person, at the Public Services Agency’s subdivision where they took the exam, or online, through the institution's website. The application can also be submitted quickly by scanning a QR code available on the exam slip, in the exams rooms and on the vehicles used for testing.

According to representatives of the Agency, by digitizing this process, the institution aims to facilitate candidates' access to the right of appeal and to ensure greater transparency in the evaluation of driving exams.
