The Central Election Commission said that 39,919 voters asked to be allowed to vote at the place of stay with the mobile ballot box in the November 1 presidential elections.
Of the total number of requests, 1,616 were from voters with symptoms of COVID19, while 38,303 applications invoked other reasons, IPN reports.
The largest number of applications from voters with signs of the respiratory infection was filed in Ialoveni - 548.
