About 600 apartment buildings in Buiucani district of Chisinau will be disconnected from the centralized heating system on February 2, while another 300 blocks will be disconnected from the hot water supply. SA “Termoelectrica” said the temporary disconnections are due to repair works on heat pipes, IPN reports.
In a press release, the public utility says technical glitches need to be removed on some sections. Repair works on the 800mm diameter pipes will be carried out in the perimeter of the streets Calea Iesilor, I. Creanga, Belinski, Alba Iulia, V. Lupu, Paris, L. Deleanu, Soseaua Balcani and in Durlesti town.
SA “Termoelectrica” notes that the daytime temperatures on February 2 were forecast to range between +8 and +11 degrees Celsius and the thermal discomfort will be thus insignificant.
The works will be executed between 10am and 3pm.
