Alliance leaders to come together today

Liberal Democrat Vlad Filat, Democrat Marian Lupu and Liberal Mihai Ghimpu will be coming together later today at the State Residency on Iorga Street to discuss issues related to the election of the President, Info-Prim Neo reports. Larisa Manole, spokeswoman for the Liberal Democratic Party, the current holder of the rotating chairmanship of the Eurointegration Alliance, said that it was decided to hold a meeting among the party leaders alone, rather than of the entire Alliance Board, because some Board members were out of the country. The meeting was initially scheduled for 4:00 PM, but the time could change, she added. The Alliance leaders will discuss about the presidential election slated for January 15 and about potential nominees.
