Following searches conducted on Thursday, former Socialist MP Alla Dolință hasn’t been classed as a suspect. She is to be summoned and questioned by prosecutors within the criminal case started against ex-President Igor Dodon, IPN reports.
The Anticorruption Prosecutor’s Office said the searches covered the ex-MP’s home and car. There were seized memory cards and drafts that are somehow connected with the investigation and are to be examined together with other evidence collected in this case.
In the middle of July, the MP of the Bloc of Communists and Socialists Alla Dolință announced that she decided to give up the seat of MP and leave the BCS parliamentary group and to also withdraw from the PSRM as she did not agree with the method, concept and rhetoric of the party and its administration over the war in Ukraine.
Alla Dolință took up as an MP in December 2014.
