A single e-signature will be required by all public services, including the fiscal ones. Until now, electronic tax reporting was possible either via the authentication signature issued by Fiscservinform, exclusively for the use with tax services, or via the advanced qualified signature, which could be used with other public e-services, IPN reports.
The Prime Minister's Economic Council announced that tax reporting will now be done only with the advanced qualified e-signature, which can be issued by Moldcell, Orange, the Center for special telecommunications and CRIS Registru. This e-signature allows access to all the public e-services in Moldova, including tax reporting (e-Bills, e-Declaration), e-reporting to CNAS and CNAM, applications for economic activity licenses (e-Licensing), the e-processing of export transaction, accessing the State Registry of Population and the State Registry of Public Procurements (e-Procurements), the e-Apostille and others.
Fiscservinform has stopped issuing its own signatures, which didn't meet legal requirements since January 4, 2015. Companies that have a Fiscservinform signature can use it until the expiration of contract on the basis of which they received the signature. Tax payers whose contracts have expired can request new signatures from the accredited institutions.
In order to reduce expenses, the validity of e-signatures will be extended to 5 years. Currently, they are valid only 1 year and must be renewed annually.
