Prime Minister Pavel Filip, in the October 3 meeting of the Cabinet, requested to connect all the public institutions to the platform MConnect, IPN reports. The platform facilitates electronic data exchange between the authorities and offers the conditions needed for issuing certificates in electronic format.
“I will ask you to migrate to this platform and hope we will not reach the situation when the institutions will be obliged to do this by a Government decision. I know what certificate issuance means. This means money and that the functionary feels important. Let’s move the certificates to the electronic platform and we will no longer witness such situations,” stated the Premier.
As from October 8 this year, the people will no longer need to present the certificate of criminal record at state institutions, while another four documents, namely the health policy, medical certificate, entrepreneur’s patent and certificate of paid taxes, will stop to be issued on paper in the nearest future.
