Eight multifunctional centers of the Public Services Agency are to be opened in April. Another 29 centers will start work by the end of July, IPN reports.
“We are trying to eliminate the obligation to present additional documents so that the citizens come to the multifunctional centers with the identity card only. We also aim to digitize the archives of the Public Services Agency so that the people do not have to travel long to collect the copy of a document,” said the Agency’s director Sergey Railean.
Earlier, the State Registration Chamber had representative offices only in ten districts, while the Licensing Chamber only in Chisinau. With the opening of the multifunctional centers, registrars will work in each district, said the head of the Public Services Management Department Pavel Shincariuc.
The Public Services Agency planned to open 38 multifunctional centers, 34 of which in districts, one in Balti municipality and three in Chisinau. The first office of the kind was opened in Straseni town at the start of last December.
At the multifunctional centers, the citizens will have access to over 1,000 public services.
