The Supervisory Board of the National Public Broadcaster “Teleradio-Moldova” (TRM) examined the eight applications filed and admitted all of them to the contest. Four persons applied for the post of director of TRM and as many for the post of director of Radio Moldova, the Council’s secretary Mariana Cersac has told IPN.
The contest to designate the director of TRM will be held on April 23, starting at 10:00, while the contest to choose the director of Radio Moldova – on April 24, starting at the same hour.
Until the new director of TRM is selected, the post will be held by Mircea Surdu on an interim basis, while the post of Radio Moldova director will be occupied by Veaceslav Ghoerghishenko on an interim basis.
Stefan Secareanu, Alexandru Grosu, Nicu Scorpan and Ion Bujor applied for the presidency of TRM. The applicants for the post of Radio Moldova director are Eduard Maceac and Veaceslav Ghoerghishenko and the same Stefan Secareanu and Nicu Scorpan.
