Aliona Moon will represent Moldova at the 58th Eurovision Song Contest, which will take place in Sweden’s Malmo, with the song “A million”. The battle in the national final was given between Aliona Moon and Boris Covali, the latter being the favorite of the public. However, the jury gave most of the points to Aliona Moon, Info-Prim Neo reports. Among the favorites were Cristina Croitoru and Karizma, Cristina Scarlat, Vitalie Negruta, and Tatiana Heghea. The two Eurovision semifinals will take place on May 14 and 16. They will involve representatives of 39 countries. Aliona Moon will compete in the first semifinal. The final will be held on May 18. At the last year’s Eurovision Song Contest, Moldova’s representative Pasha Parfeni ranked 11th.
