Moldovan swimmer Alexei Sancov could not show a good result at the European Masters Swimming Championships held in London, IPN reports.
In the 400m race, the 16-year-old athlete ranked 45th with the result of 4:03.25. Italy’s Gabriel Detti became European champion. His time was 3:44.01. In the 200m race, Sancov finished 52nd with the time of 1:51.52. This race was won by Sebastian Wershurena from the Netherlands by 1:45.87.
In June, Alexei Sancov will also take part in the European Juniors Championships. The Moldovan swimmer has qualified for the Rio Olympics of August 5-21 this year.
