Alexandru Iacub, general secretary of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, will be proposed for the post of director of the Customs Service, the Ministry of Finance announced on in a Facebook post.
“At the Government meeting on Wednesday, August 28, Minister of Finance Victoria Belous will present to the Cabinet the candidacy of Alexandru Iacub, the current Secretary General of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, for the position of director of the Customs Service”, the post says.
Prior to his current job, Alexandru Iacub served as senior consultant at the Legal Directorate of the Parliament Secretariat.
The Customs Service has been without a director since the resignation of Igor Talmazan in early April.
