Track and field athlete Alexandra Emilianov won the discus throw silver medal, with a best effort of 57.30 meters, at the European Athletics U23 Championship taking place in Sweden, IPN reports.
Croatia’s Marija Tolj won the gold (62.76 meters) and Germany’s Annina Brandenburg grabbed the bronze (56.52 meters).
The next tournament for the 19-year-old Alexandra will be the European Athletics Team Championships 2019 in Macedonia and the World Championships in Qatar.
