Alcoholic drinks exportrs up 76%

The exports of alcoholic drinks increased 76%, reaching $146.5 million in the first 9 months of the year. During the same period in 2007, the exports reached $83.4 million, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to Moldova-Vin agency, the exports to the CIS are worth $126.6, toward the EU – $17.2 million, toward other countries – $2.6 million. The CIS absorbs 86.4% of the Moldovan drinks exports, while the EU absorbs 11.7%.
Russia is main importer of the Moldovan alcoholic drinks accounting for $47.6 million, followed by Ukraine with $35.1 million and Belarus with $34.4 million. Poland is the fourth accounting for $6.7 million.
