Alcohol makes victims again

Two Chisinau men were admitted on Sunday to the toxicology section of the Hospital no.3 with severe alcoholic intoxication. The same day a vagrant was found dead near a dump on Traian St.
According to Eufalia Negreata, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Emergency Service, one of the two men, aged 30, was found by passers-by behind a residential block on Cuza Voda St. The ambulance was called at around 2:30 PM. Upon arrival at the scene, the doctors found that the drunken man also suffered a head trauma.
The second man, in his early thirties, was found unconscious on Milescu Spatarul St at 8:20 PM and was driven to the hospital in a state of coma.
Also on Sunday, the help of the doctors on the ambulance was needed on Dante Alighieri St, where a woman, 37, was reportedly stabbed in the abdomen by an unknown assaulter. The case is handled by the police.
On November 25, the Chisinau Emergency Service recorded 630 calls. There were registered 55 cases of acute viral diseases, and 54 cases of trauma.
