Radu Albot played the final of the Irving Tennis Classic tournament of the Challenger series that took place in the United States. He reached the final of the doubles alongside Australia’s Ebden Matthew, IPN reports.
The Albot - Matthew pair scored three victories, being beaten only by the Philipp Petzschner (Germany) - Alexander Peya (Austria) pair 2-6, 4-6.
In the singles, Albot was eliminated after the first match after losing to American athlete Jared Donaldson, world No. 49, 4-6, 6-7.
