Air Moldova announced it was temporarily closing its main ticket office at 10 Negruzzi St. in Chisinau amid financial woes, with staff to concentrate on assisting clients online.
Air Moldova said in a press release the measure is in line with its restructuring plan.
Meanwhile, the troubled airline’s flights remain suspended until June 10 inclusive. Clients will receive notifications on their emails detailing refund and rebooking options, as the helpline will continue to take calls each day from 8:00AM to 8:00PM, the airline promised.
“Refunds for canceled flights continue to be processed. Passengers who purchased tickets online on the company’s website will receive a refund upon request, on the card with which the ticket was paid.
Passengers who purchased tickets by paying cash or by card through travel agencies will be able to receive refunds in cash or by card once the commercial and operational activity of the company resumes”, Air Moldova added.
