The airline Air Moldova on August 1 relaunched the daily direct Chisinau-Kiev-Chisinau flights. A one-way ticket costs €67 and up, with all taxes included, IPN reports.
According to the schedule, the plane will take off from the Chisinau International Airport at 1:30pm and will land in Kiev at 2:20pm. The takeoff from Kiev was set at 5:10pm, while the landing in Chisinau at 6pm.
“We are glad that the national operator decided to provide again flights to this destination as the number of persons who travel to and from Kiev rises considerably. The reopening of the flight by Air Moldova will help strengthen the relations between the Republic of Moldova and Ukraine,” Moldova’s Ambassador in Kiev Ruslan Bolbocean stated in the relaunch at the Borispol International Airport in Kiev.
“The reopening of the flight will offer more flexibility as the passengers from Kiev could now reach more destinations in Europe through the Chisinau International Airport,” said Victor Sula, vice director of Air Moldova.
Air Moldova launched the Chisinau-Kiev-Chisinau flights in October 2015, but halted them in January 2016.
