About 400 companies from 16 countries are taking part in the 21st international exhibition of machinery, equipment and technology for the agroindustrial sector “Moldagroteh 2011” and the 14th fair-exhibition of agricultural products, equipment and technology and trades “Farmer”, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Since 2010, “Moldagroteh” is held twice a year, in spring and in autumn. “The distinctive feature of the autumn edition is the presentation of the most modern agricultural equipment. In the current conditions, the companies working in the agroindustrial sector aim to optimize the production processes and to minimize costs,” said Lidia Staraschuc, the head of Moldexpo’s protocol section.
The participants in the fair-exhibition “Farmer” offer new sorts and hybrids of plants and trees as well as mineral fertilizers, biostimulators, chemical fertilizers, and natural nutrients.
The traditional “Golden Autumn” Fair is held as part of the exhibit. The farmers there display fruit, vegetables, wine products, apples and walnuts. The visitors can see a wide variety of saplings, cuttings, flowers and seeds.
“The designation of the winners of the contest “Fermier-Lider 2011” and “Lider-Agrobusiness 2011” will be the most emotional event of the exhibit. The laureates will receive diplomas of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Top Prize “Rodnicie”, medals “Fermier-Lider 2011” and “Lider-Agrobusiness 2011” and money awards. The exhibitions “Moldagrotech” and “Farmer” will include a consistent related program that will enable all those interested to receive professional consultancy from representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and specialists about the most recent technology and the situation on the market,” said Lidia Staraschuc.
The event is held between October 19 and 22. It was organized by the International Exhibitions Center Moldexpo, the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Industry, the National Farmers’ Federation of Moldova, the National Union of Agricultural Producers’ Associations “UniAgroProtect”, and the National Federation of Agricultural Producers “AGROinform”.
The exhibit brought together representatives from Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Czech Republic. Denmark, Greece, France, Italy, Poland, Romania, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine and other countries.
