Over 400 companies from several countries are exhibiting at Moldexpo, between 16 and 19 October, the offers of innovations, technologies and equipment for the agro-industrial sector, plant protection products and fertilizers. Agro-industrial week includes international specialized exhibitions Moldagrotech, 37th edition, Farmer, 22nd edition, Golden Autumn Fair and Animal Show, IPN reports.
The Minister of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment, Georgeta Mincu, said at the inauguration of the Agro-Industrial Week that the exhibitions in question were a tool to promote modern technologies in the agricultural sector and the local agricultural products. It is also a platform for close collaboration and communication between exhibitor, client and consumer. Georgeta Mincu has expressed hope that many cooperation and partnership contracts will be concluded, so that in the coming years supply of agricultural equipment will no longer be a problem.
At the Golden Autumn fair, visitors can find organic vegetables and fruits grown in Moldova, meat products from local producers, spices, planting material, honey etc.
Agro-industrial week is organized by Moldexpo Exhibition Center, Ministry of Agriculture, Regional Development and Environment and National Federation of Farmers.
