The Cabinet on June 12 approved the agreement between the Government of Moldova and the Government of Georgia on the constitution of the joint intergovernmental commission for economic cooperation that was signed in Tbilisi on April 28, 2017. The document is to be adopted by Parliament, IPN reports.
The signatories aim to identify new areas of bilateral economic cooperation, to jointly implement investment projects and to contribute to fostering partnerships between the private sectors of the two states.
According to the Ministry of Economy, 29 joint intergovernmental commissions for economic, commercial, scientific and technical cooperation have been constituted so far.
