The membership of Lilia Bolocan, director of the State Agency on Intellectual Property AGEPI, on the National Awards selection panel has been suspended under a Cabinet decision adopted today, reports IPN.
At the same time, new members have been added: Otilia Dandara, doctor and university professor; OWH Studio director Virgiliu Mărgineanu; and Sergiu Musteață, doctor and university professor.
Previously the Commission was made up of 13 members, but this failed to respect the principle of proportionality among central public authorities, academia and civil society. Today’s decision aims to correct this.
Minister of Education Liliana Nicolaescu-Onofrei said the decision is also in connection with the investment of a new Government.
The decision becomes effective upon publication in the Official Gazette.
