The attraction of Romanian investments to Moldova and energy interconnection will be among the topics that the Moldovan authorities will raise in the discussions with the Prime Minister of Romania Dacian Ciolos, who is to pay a visit to Moldova at the end of this month, IPN reports.
Prime Minister Pavel Filip told a news conference that he invited his Romanian counterpart to come to Moldova on the occasion of the Independence Day. It is not yet known if the Romanian Premier manages to arrive in Chisinau on August 27, but a visit was confirmed for the end of this month and the beginning of next month.
In the same news conference, Speaker of Parliament Andrian Candu said that he will meet with the Romanian official to discuss such issues as energy interconnection, motor, air and railway transport and the Romanian investments in Moldova. They aim to identify solutions for the Romanian investors to find Moldova attractive for their activities.
Dacian Ciolos met with his Moldovan counterpart in Bucharest in January and with the President of Moldova Nicolae Timofti in February, when this paid an official visit to Romania.
