AEI lies about hunting in Domneasca Forest, ex-security minister

The Alliance for European Integration (AEI) is accused of telling lies about the hunting with tragic end in the Domneasca Forest. Former minister of national security Anatol Plugaru said the leaders of the AEI committed at least 15 offenses when trying to hide this case, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Plugaru, first of all they lied about the status of the hunting. The legislation bans hunting on the territory of a scientific reserve, like “Padurea Domneasca”. “When sanitary hunting is performed with the aim of reducing the number of animas, it involves good hunters and no beater. The animals are not chased through the forest by inebriated men,” Anatol Plugaru said in a news conference. The most serious offense from his viewpoint is the fact that the accidental killing turned into intentional murder when the participants in the hunting, instead of transporting the victim to the hospital, started to hide the evidence. “They started to look for methods to hide the crime. It was accidental killing until the man fell down. Afterward, it became deliberate murder. They arrived at the hospital with a delay of 2-3 hours, covering a distance of 30 km. They should have called an ambulance to meet them. Allegedly, they tried to look for bullets in the man’s stomach so as not to leave proofs,” said Anatol Plugaru. He also said that Head of Parliament Marian Lupu breaks the law by refusing to call an immediate sitting of Parliament to name the prosecutor who will investigate the case. According to him, it is serious when the head of state and the premier find out about such a case from the press. Anatol Plugaru stated that the AEI should dissolve itself and the MPs should vote freely as they want, not as the party leader says. The case in the Domneasca Forest was a test for the authorities, which they failed to pass. The Prosecutor’s Office accused the vice president of the Chisinau Court of Appeals Gheorghe Cretu of killing the 34-year-old Sorin Paciu by accident. The Ministry of the Interior started a criminal case over illegal hunting in the reserve “Padurea Domneasca”.
