AEI Council to convene on Friday

The Council of the Alliance for European Integration (AEI) will come together for a meeting on Friday, September 23, the chairman of the Liberal Party Mihai Ghimpu told the press. He said that the hour when the meeting will start has not been yet set as they must discuss first with the leader of the Democratic Party Marian Lupu and the head of the Liberal Democratic Party Vlad Filat, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Mihai Ghimpu alluded that he hour cannot be agreed because some of his colleagues are on trips. “Today in Brussels, Bucharest, Comrat. What can we do? The person is working,” said Mihai Ghimpu.
The meeting of the AEI Council was to take place on September 21, but was postponed because Prime Minister Vlad Filat announced he will be paying a visit to Bucharest.
