Strong northern wind and ground frost are forecast for the last days of March. A yellow code advisory for winds of up to 20 m/s was issued for March 29. Ground frost and minus 5 degrees Celsius were forecast for March 30 and 31.

Valentina Beghina, engineer-forecaster at the State Hydrometeorology Service, has told IPN that the frosts will be bitterer on March 30, while on March 31 frost is possible in parts only, mainly in northern Moldova. The negative nighttime temperatures can affect the fruit trees that are already in blossom.

According to the forecast for the next seven days, nighttime temperatures will oscillate between minus 5 and plus 6 degrees Celsius, while daytime ones − between plus 7 and plus 18 degrees Celsius. Rain is possible on April 2 and 3. The weather will grow slightly colder.
