Adoptive parents try to identify solutions to adoption-related problems

A group of adoptive parents is trying to find solutions to adoption-related problems and methods for protecting the adopted children from negative social influences. The discussions are held as part of the fourth general meeting of adoptive parents of Moldova taking place in Vadul lui Voda town during August 19-21, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to Stela Vasluian, director of the Moldova office of “Amici dei Bambini” Association, the over 60 persons, adults and children attending the meeting are trying to identify ways and decide on the most suitable time for revealing the adoption secret, the expectations of the adoptive parents and adopted children being put on the same scale. The parents benefit from psychological assistance in solving the problems they encounter, while the children are engaged in amusements that facilitate their socialization. The general meeting was organized by “Amici dei Bambini” Association and the National Association of Adoptive Parents of Moldova, which has 62 members.
