Adolescents organize charity acts on Easter holidays

On the occasion of the Easter holidays, the teenagers in Moldova organized a number of charity acts, helped by the administrations of the educational establishments, Info-Prim Neo reports. According to a communiqué from the Center for Adolescents, the Chisinau high schools “M. de Cervantes”, “Al-dru cel Bun”, “N. Gogol” and “M. Eliade” collected gifts for the children receiving treatment in the uronephrology, cardiology and ortolaryngology sections of the Municipal Hospital for Children No.3. Students from another six pre-university educational institutions offered sweets and pound cakes to the residents of the National Center for Old People and Invalids and held an Easter concert for them. Valentina Sandu, the head of the Center for Adolescents, said that the charity acts were organized with the aim of restoring the hope in life, beauty and feast of the people that suffer. The Easter holidays are a good occasion to ponder over the notions of faith, light, forgiveness, trust, patience, charity, Valentina Sandu said. The charity acts were carried out on the initiative of the Center for Adolescents with the participation of representatives of the Local Council of Children and Youth.
