The university admission contest 2021 (bachelor’s and master’s degrees) will be based on a mixt, primarily online system. The Ministry of Education, Culture and Research, at the request of the higher education institutions, set a common period for the organization and holding of the main session of the admission contest for all the universities, IPN reports.

According to the Ministry, the applications to take part in the contest will be filed online during July 19-30, while the intermediary results will be announced on August 3. During August 4-10, the documents could be submitted to the chosen education institution in the original, according to a timetable with access on stages agreed by each institution, by obeying the COVID-19 protection measures. The final results will be made public on August 12.

The contest file (scanned documents) will be transmitted to the admission contest using different accessible ICT instruments (Email, Viber, Skype, Messenger, WhatsApp, special admission software, etc.). The candidates for a bachelor’s degree can apply to study at a number of higher education establishments, but will be enrolled only at one specialty at one institution, where they will file the documents in the original.

If the budgetary places are not filled, the higher education institutions will hold an additional session during August 13-26, 2020.
