The new parliamentary elections that will take place in single-member constituency No. 38 Hâncești on March 15 will not be put off, but those in charge of the organization of elections will be obliged to take additional protection measures amid the created epidemiological situation.
“There will be taken additional hygiene measures and also fluidization measures so that there are not many people inside the polling station at once,” Prime Minister Ion Chicu was quoted by IPN as saying after the meeting of the National Extraordinary Commission for Public Health.
Constituency No. 38 includes the municipality of Hâncești, 11 communes and 13 villages of Hâncești district, 25 territorial-administrative units of the first level in total.
