Ten buses will transport over 400 refugees from Palanca to the Causeni railway station, and from here by train to the Romanian city of Iași. Ten other buses came from Romania to transport about 450 people to Huși. At the same time, starting with March 10, direct commercial bus trips to the Czech Republic, Germany and Poland will be provided, IPN reports.
Additionally, the Palanca-Causeni bus has been made available to shuttle refugees to the local railway station for the special trip to Iași. In the past 24 hours, 1,346 passengers were transported on the special train route Causeni - Chisinau - Iasi (Socola). Two other commercial rides Chisinau - Iasi (Socola) transferred 441 refugees.
Authorities also announce that temporary signage in Russian/Ukrainian will be posted on national roads to redirect cars transiting the national territory to border crossings other than the busy Leuseni.
