The leaders of the political bloc ACUM had separate meetings today with United States Ambassador Dereck Hogan, European Union Ambassador Peter Michalko, and Russian Ambassador Oleg Vasnetsov.
Andrei Năstase and Maia Sandu met with the three envoys in order to share their views on how the problems accumulated over the last few years could be solved and how the impasse following the February legislative elections could be overcome.
“ACUM’s top priority is to see the adoption of the legislative package that aims to free our country from oligarchic captivity, which includes the goal of restoring the proportional voting system and improving it according to the recommendations made by the Venice Commission”, the bloc posted to Facebook.
