The electoral bloc ACUM DA PAS runs in the parliamentary elections of February 24, 2019 because it wants to do justice and to ensure better living conditions for the people of Moldova. “We come to do justice to all the honest people who work hard to maintain themselves and their families, but who are daily robbed by a gang of thieves who are in power and who try to keep power at all costs,” says the bloc’s Proclamation released on the occasion of the launch of the election campaign, IPN reports.
“We come to do justice to pensioners who gave their best years of life, their health and forces for us, to those who now live in poverty owing to the incompetence and corruption of this government and to the citizens from the diaspora who were driven away by poverty and despair, but who who send over US$ 1 billion a year from their savings home. We come to do justice to entrepreneurs who, by their work and results, contribute to building this country, but who are suffocated by corruption and lack of justice. We come to do justice to teachers, doctors, engineers and all the people who work honestly so that each citizen of the Republic of Moldova has sufficient incomes to live well at home and lead a decent life,” says the Proclamation of the electoral bloc ACUM DA PAS.
The leader of the Party “Action and Solidarity” Maia Sandu said they all struggle to have decent living conditions when corruption and wrongdoings are witnessed everywhere. Many people left to look for a place where their work would be appreciated, where the people enjoy justice. She was in many countries where she worked on a high salary and had a safe future, but she every time thought about home. When she returned, she did it sure that by hard work, alongside competent people, good things can be done at home too.
The president of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” Andrei Năstase said we do justice ourselves by going to vote in a large number, by struggling with democratic arms against a criminal regime that will not leave voluntarily. “A solid and just state that treats all the citizens fairly is a state without corruption and oligarchs that works only for the people’s benefit. It is a fair state that abides by the values of the European civilization. It is a transparent state that has solid and free institutions managed by real professionals,” stated the politician.
The electoral bloc ACUM DA PAS pledges to clean up justice and to confiscate the property of those who are corrupt, to revitalize the economy and to increase the people’s incomes, to invest in education that is the main driving force of modernization and change. “We will restore the relations with the European partners and will fulfil all the conditions for applying to become a member of the European Union so that we all find ourselves in the family of civilized nations,” runs the Proclamation.
ACUM DA PAS is the second on the list of caniddates on the ballot.
