Actors from ten countries to perform in Moldova during a week

Actors from ten countries will present plays in Moldova’s theaters within the third International Chamber Theater and Small-Scale Productions Festival “Moldfest.Rampa.Ru”. The event was officially opened at the National Philharmonic “Sergey Lunkevich” on November 22, Info-Prim Neo reports. In the opening, the festival’s director, artistic manager of the State Youth Dramatic Theater “Rose Street” Iury Harmelin said that each performance will be different and nice in their own way. Each actor must be open and sincere with the spectators so as to earn their trust. He also said that he would be glad if the theater halls will be full of young people, as in the opening of the festival. Attending the opening, Russian Ambassador to Moldova Valery Kuzmin said the festival is an important cultural event that will definitely gladden the spectators. The troupes will do their best to show the potential of the countries they represent. The plays will be put on at the “Rose Street” Theater, the Russian State Theater “Anton Chekhov”, the Theater “Satiricus” and at the Actor’s House. There will be given by 4-5 performances a day. The price of tickets varies between 100 and 200 lei. The third International Chamber Theater and Small-Scale Productions Festival “Moldfest.Rampa.Ru” will last until November 29. It is organized by the “Rose Street” Theater with support from the Russian Embassy in Moldova and the Foundation “Russkii mir”.
